What is ReSolidity?

ReSolidity was one of the first projects that I've worked on: they wanted to make an NFT collection based on an utility-first principle: holders would get some perks based on their NFT rarity.

The problem

The main problem was to understand how the NFTs could give value to their holders, and designing a VIP system that could be used to achieve it.

To solve that, we made a business plan highlighting what it was possible to achieve by gating (granting access with specific requirements) based on token rarity.

Some section of the website were gated so that only some holders could access, granting an exclusivity perk. Collectibles had a rarity factor based on a trait system, and depending on its rarity, a specific NFT would grant access to some sections on their website.

You could also burn some NFTs to get a reward in cryptocurrency (a custom token that I made for ReSolidity): the amount delivered was proportional to the NFT rarity. This token could be used to play games on the website, play a lottery, and other advanced features.

Results

I finished the collection, the smart contract, and website with all the features needed. Unfortunately after the June 2022 crypto crash and the consequent bear market, ReSolidity had to conclude this project, which is now defunct.
