No Code Crypto Token Builder

TokenMate wanted to launch a DeFi platform with a tailored solution to their needs, they were on the starting phase, and they wanted to build a decentralized application, some smart contracts, and a landing page.

What is TokenMate?

TokenMate is a brand new platform where users are able to build custom cryptocurrencies, in a code-less way, on the Ethereum blockchain. TokenMate makes it simple: you just need to choose the features your want, connect you wallet, and your token is ready to use.

The problem

The architecture of this application needed a way to write dynamic smart contracts on demand, based on the features picked by the user, and also be able to deploy said smart contract. Finally, it had to transfer its ownership to the user, while TokenMate would get a flat fee as a payment for its service, in a fully decentralized way.

Secure, authorative, and easy to use

I started by designing a theme for the website: the colour scheme is based off a strong yellow, which is strongly associated with banks and finance companies. The attention of the user was brought to the "Start Building" button, so that they could start creating their own token.

The next challenge was building a system to dynamically write a smart contract, compile it, and finally deploy it on the Ethereum blockchain after a customer had confirmed his order.

I built a custom system to handle this, which picks the relevant parts based on the features needed in a cohorent way, merging it in a single smart contract file optimized for gas usage. Finally I wrote a wrapper that compiled this file so that it was possible to deploy on-chain.

Results

Users are able to choose between a list of features, customize their own token data, and deploy it in just a few minutes through a simple to use UI system.
